Alberta wakes up alone in the chaos of her home, disoriented and unable to remember who she is. Her only tools to reconstruct her identity are scattered notes and video recordings of herself. She is silently fighting an early onset of Alzheimer’s disease: it’s a disturbing journey into memory, loneliness and identity, where horror becomes the visual expression of illness and loss.

Created for 50H in Barca, an Italian filmmaking competition held in Bologna where teams have only 50 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film, Alberta?  won the 2025 edition of the competition, ranking first and earning a screening at the opening of the Visioni italiane 2026 festival at the Bologna Cineteca.
